TARGUS specializes in operations improvement, focusing on lean manufacturing, supply chain management, cost reduction, post-merger integration, and new plant construction/expansion. We work with top global manufacturers and are seeking a Management Consultant to join our growing team.

What You'll Do:

As a Management Consultant at TARGUS, you will:

  • Conduct data-based analyses to develop operational improvements across various industries.
  • Lead teams to implement action plans and achieve sustainable results.
  • Focus on key areas of improvement, including lean manufacturing, supply chain optimization, and cost reduction.
  • Identify new business opportunities with clients.
  • Contribute to the development of internal tools, methods, and processes.
  • Coach and mentor junior colleagues.
  • Support entrepreneurial growth initiatives within the company.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking candidates with-

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain management, continuous improvement, or similar fields.
  • Advanced degree in engineering, science, or a related field; or an undergraduate degree plus an MBA.
  • Project management experience and proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Strong background in lean manufacturing, supply chain management, and cost optimization, with experience in post-merger integration and plant expansions.
  • Knowledge/Implementation of business intelligence infrastructure and collection and analysis of data sets with Microsoft BI, Minitab, R, Tableau or similar software.
  • Expertise in operations and leading complex work streams in complicated organizations
  • The ability to work independently and lead teams effectively.
  • Willingness to travel 90-100% of the time.
