A nice present just before Christmas: For the second time in a row, TARGUS was named “Hidden Champion of Consulting”. In the latest study by the WGMB Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Management und Beratung (Scientific Society for Management and Consulting) and the German business magazine Capital, TARGUS once again took the top spot in the important category “Business Performance”, far ahead of the runner-up. In this core discipline of management consulting across the entire industrial value chain from R&D to purchasing, production, logistics and marketing & sales, TARGUS thus achieves better results for its clients than all other consultancies, including the industry giants McKinsey, BCG, Bain & Co – and, according to the verdict of the WGMB study, can therefore call itself a hidden champion.
Particularly pleasing: For the first time, TARGUS also succeeded in winning the title of Hidden Champion in the category “Purchasing & Procurement” with third place in the ranking. Our excellent performance is rounded off with a third place in the category “Engineering & Production” as well as first place in the discipline “Implementation Ability”. From the client’s point of view, this is a particularly important criterion for choosing a consulting partner. After all, brilliant concepts only help if the implementation is also right. The analyses of the WGMB under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Dietmar Fink, professor at the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, are highly regarded in the consulting industry and in German business due to their depth of investigation and high professional standards.
